MCPC Papers Series 1: Oral Histories Series Record - Series 1: MCPC Oral Histories This series contains Interview Recordings, Audio, Digital, Video and Transcriptions of the oral histories directly relate to the interviewees' recollections and activities within the MCPC. The MCPC Archival Collection was founded to capture the history of the Morris County Park Commission through the words of its staff, volunteers, Commissioners, Morris County Freeholders, and patrons who enjoy them as well as document the linked history of Morris County to its vast park system.

Morris County Park Commission Archival Papers Fonds - The MCPC Archival Collection was founded to capture the history of the Morris County Park Commission through the words of its staff, volunteers, Commissioners, Morris County Freeholders, and patrons who enjoy them as well as document the linked history of Morris County to its vast park system. The collection also includes individuals that donated land or property to the MCPC, or other persons that were very involved with the activities of the parks, or the history of a site owned by the MCPC which may not be covered within the scope of another archival collection. Finally, archival holdings pertinent to the history of Morris County and the mission and vision of the Morris County Park Commission, but not covered within the scope of another, specific, collection are included herein. These records will be an excellent source of information for researchers interested in the institutional and organizational histories of the MCPC and the recollections of those involved with the MCPC.

Mt. Hope Papers Fonds - Parent Record, Mt. Hope Papers Mt. Hope Papers Collection, is an extensive archives of documentary resources related to the Mt. Hope Mine site that presents an extensive picture of the significant operations undertaken at Mt. Hope during the late 1880s through the 1980s. The collection includes maps, books, photos, records and objects related to mining at Mt. Hope. These items were removed from the Miners' Change house of the 1940s New Leonard Complex. Items which now comprise the Mt. Hope Papers include 3,981 maps materials including: Mylar, paper, hand-drawn on velum/paper and mounted on linen, building construction plans, mining and processing equipment specifications ranging from 1875 - 1987. Additionally, 650 linear feet of documents housed in their original filing cabinets dating from the late 1800s through 1970s. The documents include: Books, Ledgers, Journals, Magazines, paper documents including: Annual reports, Accident/medical reports, Detective reports, Invoices, and ore shipment records, ore sample analyses, general internal/external correspondence/memorandums.

The Image Collection contains a large diversity of materials relating to the various Park Commission properties including special events, park property, storm damage, and site history among others.
