Summary |
"Willowwood in Pictures" is a pictorial walk throughout the house and grounds. In 1908, two brothers used a small legacy to acquire their country home near Gladstone, NJ, and renamed it Willowwod Farm. Robert and Henry Tubbs, and Henry's adopted son, Dr. Benjamin Blackburn, a noted botanist, preserved their cherished gardens and exotic plantings, the realization of their gardening passion, as the Willowwood Arboreturm, New Jersey's most comprehensive and longest continually operating Arboretum. The Willowwood Foundation, a non profit organization, supports restoration and garden projects at the Willowwood Arboretum, a living plant laboratory and facility of the Morris County Park Commission. |
