A fishing pole is lying on the ground next to him. In the background is lots of dirt and rocks, with several wooden buildings in the distance. 2nd original photograph is a close- up version of the 1st image, Carline is holding the bottle on her leg and not pouring in the 2nd picture. On verso of 1st image: hadnwritten in ink "Pa & I/at Skunks Misery" On Verso of 2nd image: handwritten in pencil "C.R. Foster and her father" Written on label of folder in library photograph cabinet - "Charles & Caroline Foster - Skunk's Misery". Copies of original photograph removed from library cabinet and returned to archives. |
